For businesses that sell products to other businesses
APTRYK runs the day of a wholesale business: every order in one list, a portal where your customers order at their own prices, stock tracked by lot, and the quotes, invoices and purchasing around them.
What it replaces
Most product businesses run on email threads, a stock spreadsheet and a few people who remember everything. APTRYK puts that work in one system your staff and your customers share.
BeforeOrders arrive by email and phone and get typed into a spreadsheet.
01With APTRYK
Customers order in their own portal at their own prices, staff enter the rest, and each order shows what it is waiting on.
BeforeStock is a number someone edits by hand.
02With APTRYK
Receipts, reservations and shipments each write a line. A mistake is corrected with a new adjustment, never by editing a figure.
BeforePrice lists live in files and in people's heads.
03With APTRYK
A company wide price per item, an optional price for one facility, and quantity breaks. Orders and the portal use the same rule.
BeforeFollow ups live in someone's inbox.
04With APTRYK
Assigned and dated, on a lead, a sample, a quote or an order. Samples due a follow up call show on their own list.
One system, two sides
Staff and customers read the same records. Customers see only their own company's orders, quotes, shipments, invoices and shared documents, never your costs or internal notes.
Admins, sales, operations and read only roles, each seeing what their work needs.
A portal under your logo and colors, for customer admins, buyers and viewers. It works at phone width.
A tour by area
Each area opens with an overview whose figures link to the lists behind them. Which areas you get depends on your plan; compare the plans.
Every inquiry from first contact to customer, so nothing sits unattended.
One list of every order with what each one is waiting on.
On hand, reserved and available, by item, lot and location.
What was billed, what came in and what is still owed.
What you buy, from whom, and what is on the way.
What is running, what it cost and what it brought in.
The staff side of the business, without payroll.
The equipment, software and help desk in one place.
Who can do what, and how the portal looks.
Security, in plain words
Many businesses share APTRYK, and none can see another. The wall is in the database, not only in the screens.
Every record carries the business it belongs to, and a rule in the database itself lets a request reach only its own business. An automated test tries to cross that line on every change.
A customer reads only their company's records, and a buyer only the facilities they are allowed. Your costs and internal notes never reach the portal.
Anyone can add a code from an authenticator app. Admins can require it for admins or for all staff, and decide how long a session may sit idle.
APTRYK staff have no standing access. Your admin can open read only support access for 1 to 72 hours, and every page support opens goes in your audit log.
An admin can download everything the business holds at any time: one file with a spreadsheet and a JSON file for each kind of record.
Changes to settings, permissions, connections and keys are logged with who made them and when. Connections are encrypted in transit, and data is encrypted at rest.
Getting started
A short form: your company, your name, a work email and the size of your team.
Your business starts on a free trial, and your first admin gets an invitation by email.
A checklist that ticks itself as you go, with a link to the screen for each step.
Seven steps, each linking to the screen that does it.
Questions
Businesses that make or sell physical products to other businesses: they take wholesale orders, keep stock in lots with dates, and want their customers to order and check on deliveries themselves.
No. A customer's people see only their own company's records, and a person limited to some facilities sees only those. The database enforces it, not only the screens.
Yes. Your logo, colors and app icon dress the staff app, the sign in page and the customer portal, and the portal shows your name, not ours.
No payroll: the People area keeps no pay, bank or government ID details. Finance covers invoices, payments, bills and the money reports, and on plans that include connections it can link to Zoho Books.
Only when one of your admins opens support access, for a set number of hours with a reason. Support can only read, and every page it opens is in your audit log.
An admin can download all of your data at any time as spreadsheets and JSON files. After a subscription ends, the portal stays readable for 30 days, and the download still works.
There are three plans, which differ in staff logins and the areas they include. See the plans and what each includes.
